This website (laureo-award.com) sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. That is why you see no cookie banner here — there is nothing that would require your consent.
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time of access, requested page, user agent) in server log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and stable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; EU standard contractual clauses apply in addition. The scope and retention of runtime logs accessible to us depend on the Vercel plan and configuration in use. We do not combine those data with other data sources or use them to create usage profiles. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Vercel.
If you contact us by email, we process your details (name, email address, message content) to handle your request and follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps; otherwise it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries). Data is deleted once no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
For demo appointments we link to Microsoft Bookings ("Book with me"). When you click the booking button you leave our website; Microsoft's privacy statement applies (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.): privacy.microsoft.com. We process the data you provide when booking (name, email, preferred time slot) to conduct the demo (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
For award platforms we operate for customers (e.g. on subdomains of laureo-award.com
or customer domains), Laureo uses a strictly necessary login-session cookie for
authenticated users, with a maximum session duration of eight hours. If public voting
is enabled, the signed laureo_voter cookie is also set for up to one year
to prevent duplicate votes and manipulation. Strictly necessary cookies do not require
consent. The controller for data
processed there (submissions, jury evaluations, billing data) is the respective award
organizer; we act as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR and provide a data processing
agreement to our customers. Instances operated by us are hosted on servers in the EU
(Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany). The organizer's privacy notice on the relevant instance
governs the specific processing.
Organizers may optionally enable the AI-assisted “Laura" summary feature. Selected submission content is then sent to the provider identified in the instance privacy notice. Output must be labelled as AI-generated assistance, does not replace jury evaluation, and must not cause a solely automated award decision. The feature remains disabled unless it has been documented.
Contact office@state-of-innovation.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place on this marketing site. On Laureo instances, award decisions are made by the human jury; an optional AI summary is assistance only.
